God bless you all and I pray that you are all staying safe and feeling healthy. As promised, our Church Council has met along with several other meetings of the Thrift Shop and Rebecca's Pantry volunteers. Some decisions have been made and some are still tentative.
First, the Council has decided to postpone our reopening from June 7th to June 14th. We will be having Worship on Sunday, June 14h at 10 a.m. in CRISMON HALL. We have decided that for safety and cleanliness, we will meet in Crismon Hall (at least for the foreseeable future) where we have hard surfaces that can be disinfected more carefully. We will be taking temperatures upon arrival (forehead infrared thermometer - no touch necessary), hand sanitizer will be available along with masks. Seating will be provided using CDC guidelines of 6' feet apart. We will refrain from having refreshments until a later date.
If you choose to remain at home and not attend just yet, we will be livestreaming to our Facebook page and there will also be a link on our website. And, as we have done in the past, the sermon text and audio will also be available on our website.
Rebecca's Pantry is prepared to resume offering food for our community on June 16th and they have put together a safe process for that as well.
The Thrift Shop Volunteers are tentatively planning on reopening on July 8th. They will only open the clothing side for a time and NO donations will be taken until further notice.
We thank you for your patience and we are all looking forward to worshipping together in person again.
For those needing food assistance please visit Second Harvest Food Bank website.
OUR WEEKLY MESSAGE/SERMON WILL BE AVAILABLE on our website as audio/video and the text of the manuscript will also be available.
My prayers are with all of you. God is with us through this. We must take heed and be cautious. Please pray for all that are affected by this pandemic.
